Training
What kind of training program do you offer?
All members must complete two hours of classroom training and two hours of on-the-water training before their first outing. All members get access to free unlimited training as long as they are members.
Do you offer individual training?
Yes — we offer individual one-on-one training with our USCG certified captains on request.
What are the qualifications of the training staff that will provide instructions?
All of our captains are USCG licensed and have years of experience on Tennessee waters.
Is your training 7 days a week?
Yes — we offer training 7 days a week, subject to weather and availability.
Reservations
How do I make a reservation?
Members can make reservations by phone or through our online reservation system.
How far in advance can I reserve?
Members enjoy 4 rolling reservations plus unlimited same-day access.
Hours of Operation
What hours are you open?
We are open 7 days a week and 360 days a year, with hours varying by season and location.
Cost
What is the cost to join?
Membership is a one-time entry fee plus monthly dues. There is no renewal fee and no long-term contract. Contact us for current pricing by location.
History
When did Freedom Boat Club start?
Freedom Boat Club was founded in 1989 and is now the world's largest members-only boat club with over 400 locations.
